Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of general healthcare experience or equivalent.
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS preferred.
• EMT/Paramedic enrollment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including assisting with procedures and activities of daily living.
• Assists with nursing core nursing assistant responsibilities and additional tasks as assigned.
• Communicates clearly with health care team and reports changes in patient status.
• Documents in medical record according to procedures and participates in departmental activities.
• Performs point of care testing and other advanced skills as required by department.
