Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Tech Float to support nursing staff by performing basic patient care activities under RN supervision. You will monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and participate in maintaining clean, organized patient rooms.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and nursing students who have completed one clinical rotation or CNAs/CMA/EMT credentials are eligible. CPR/BLS is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nursing students who completed one clinical rotation, or CNA/CMA/EMT certification are eligible.
• CPR – Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsabilités

• Perform basic nursing care activities as delegated by an RN.
• Monitor vital signs and record measurements.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; support unit workflow with the charge RN.
