Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ohio STNA Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required – obtained during orientation.
• RQI compliance required.
• Interpersonal, clerical, numerical and manual dexterity skills.

Responsibilities

• Process physician orders and record information in Meditech.
• Assist RN and LPN in patient care and maintain unit cleanliness.
• Perform hourly rounding and clerical duties (chart order, phones, order entry).
• Coordinate patient flow with charge nurse and other departments.
• Enter outpatient and observation room charges and ensure safety and infection control standards.
