Job summary

Mount Carmel, a part of Trinity Health, is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician (MST) to support patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The MST will handle activities of daily living, vital signs, intake/output, EKGs, phlebotomy, and accurate documentation to ensure a high-quality patient experience.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards, with day shifts and weekend rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses and clinical competency training upon hire or transfer.
• BLS healthcare provider training required and maintained.
• Previous patient care experience or health-related technical education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Keep rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs including height, weight, and blood glucose; monitor I&O.
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by Staff RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• Other duties as assigned.
