Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician for the Day Shift to support nurses in delivering compassionate patient care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help ensure rooms are clean and stocked.

Responsibilities include performing EKG and phlebotomy as delegated, documenting data accurately, and supporting the care team to provide a best-in-class patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of EKG and Phlebotomy courses; clinical competency prior to hire/transfer.
• BLS healthcare provider training maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Keep patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
• Obtain vital signs and basic measurements (height, weight, glucose, I&O).
• Perform EKG and phlebotomy as delegated by RN.
• Document patient data accurately and completely.
• Fulfill all other duties as assigned.
