Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills.”

Responsibilities

• Provides, obtains or performs and documents direct patient care and activities (ADLs, vital signs, I&O, mobility, glucose testing, specimen collection, transport, documentation).
• Participates in quality and patient satisfaction initiatives and maintains a clean environment.
• Accurately documents vital signs, weights, I&O, restraints, specimen collection, and other treatments; reports changes to nursing staff.
• Assists with unit activities such as supply stocking and equipment cleaning and retrieval.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
