Job summary

• Assists with admission, transfer, discharge and general care.
• Records vital signs and personal hygiene; tracks intake/output.
• Assists in specimen collection and other patient activities.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment to prevent infections.
• Reports equipment repairs promptly per procedure.
• Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Communicates nutrition issues to Nursing Staff.
• Assists with administrative tasks to support department operations.
• Answers patient call bell and relays messages.
