Job summary

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Current registration with Maryland State Board of Nursing as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Certified Patient Care Technician (PCT).
• CPR certification (Heart saver).
• At least 1 year of direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide for care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, linens).
• Observe patients and report changes to nursing staff.
• Record intake/output, vitals, and other data in EMR as trained.
• Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Precept new staff as directed.
