Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician under RN supervision to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support routine nursing tasks to ensure patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications include High School or GED, Maryland CNA registration, PCT certification, CPR, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience; BLS/Heart saver preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant registration.
• Certification as a Patient Care Technician (PCT).
• CPR certification (Heart saver).

Responsibilities

• Provide care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients in activities of daily living; including bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens.
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
• Perform routine vital signs, intake/output, weights, and finger sticks for blood sugars as directed.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge of patients and transport as needed.
