Avera Dells Area Health Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine patient care on a rotating days/nights/weekends schedule. You will assist with ambulation, bathing, meals, and vital tasks while responding to call lights and helping with admissions and discharges.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and attention to patient comfort and safety, with opportunities for growth and a supportive team environment.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to perform essential job functions with adequate vision and hearing.
• Effective communication with patients, families and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment and follow policies.

Aufgaben

• Provides routine patient care including ambulating, bathing, and feeding.
• Greets and assists patients, answers inquiries, and helps with messages and errands.
• Ambulates and assists patients in/out of wheelchairs and measures inputs/outputs.
• Responds to patient call lights and assists during emergencies.
• Coordinates appointments and requisitions for diagnostic/therapeutic services.
• Maintains orderly patient rooms and handles routine cleaning.
