Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide/Healthcare Technician to assist in patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will support daily living activities, help with hygiene, and monitor patient conditions, maintaining a clean and safe environment.

The role includes performing tasks such as taking vital signs, basic measurements, and assisting with meals and mobility. Training will cover NC Nurse Aide I/II scope and ECG/venipuncture procedures.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with the North Carolina Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS certification is required per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height/weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to procedures.
• Maintains patient/resident rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
• Instructs patients/families on unit safety measures.
• Performs clerical tasks such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records.
• Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
• Performs Nurse Aide I/II tasks per NC Board of Nursing.
• Performs 12-Lead ECG and routine venipuncture with appropriate training.
