Advocate Health is seeking a Nurse Aide (Nurse Aide I/II) to assist patients with daily living activities, personal care, and routine clinical tasks in a clinical setting. The role includes vital signs, hygiene support, and documentation, with duties aligned to state Nurse Aide tasks and safety protocols.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, be listed with the Nurse Aide Registry, and possess BLS certification.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or as Nurse Aide II per applicable state Board.
• BLS certification required per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients/residents according to procedures.
• Maintains patient/resident rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient/resident conditions.
• Orients patients/families to unit and educates on safety measures.
• Assists with clerical work such as answering phones, data entry, and maintaining medical records.
• Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
• Performs duties per Nurse Aide I/II tasks lists as applicable by state nursing board.
• Performs technical tasks with training such as 12-Lead ECG and routine venipuncture.
