Qualifications

• High school diploma OR GED equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant course.
• OR currently enrolled in an approved RN, LPN, or EMT program with completion of nursing fundamentals course or equivalent.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to successfully perform in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with basic clinical tasks within your scope of practice, including vital signs, blood pressure checks, specimen collection, and accu-checks.
• Help maintain a safe, calm, and therapeutic environment by keeping the unit organized, conducting regular safety and environmental rounds, and accurately documenting observations.
• Support patients with activities of daily living while using effective, therapeutic communication to encourage healthy routines, confidence, and overall well-being.
• Encourage and assist patients in participating in therapeutic groups and daily activities, helping create a structured and positive experience throughout their stay.
• Respond calmly and confidently in challenging situations by using crisis management and de-escalation techniques under the guidance of licensed staff.
