Qualifications

• Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
• One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients.
• Performs duties within a unit-based, self-directed patient care team while sharing tasks with other licensed and non-licensed members.
