SummitRidge Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support patients with daily needs and vital signs in a collaborative inpatient setting. You will contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment and help with observations and documentation.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, nursing assistant coursework, and enrollment or completion of an RN/LPN/EMT program, plus 21+ age and strong communication skills. On-site position with room for growth in care teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant course.
• RN, LPN, or EMT program enrollment or completion.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• ProvideHands-on support with basic clinical tasks including vital signs and accu-checks.
• Maintain a safe, calm environment and document observations.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living using therapeutic communication.
• Encourage participation in therapeutic groups and daily activities.
• Respond calmly in crises under supervision of licensed staff.
