Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to attend 2 weeks of training.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to perform basic mathematics.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred acute care experience within last 3 years.
• Currently enrolled in ASN or BSN program with at least one clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Perform activities of daily living and monitor patient needs.
• Record vital signs, intake/output, and other care data.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort; support infection control practices.
• Communicate changes in patient status to nursing staff.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
