Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant to provide basic patient care under nursing supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living and support safety and well-being in a hospital setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) and BLS certification. Experience in hospital settings is preferred, and you will work the 7AM–7PM shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• BLS required.

• Answering patient calls and helping patients with eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Feeding patients, measuring and recording their food and liquid intake.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' temperature, blood pressure, and other vital signs and reporting changes to nurses or doctors.
• Assisting nurses or doctors with medical procedures and dressing wounds.
