Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Maintains required competencies and certifications.
• If ND work location and not CNA, must be on ND Nurse Aide Registry within four months of employment.
• If WI, must be on Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry or be a student nurse with clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Record vital statistics and assess patient condition to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Administer basic health care and medical treatments; assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, meal prep).
• Prepare patient treatment areas and clean equipment; dispose of biomedical waste per policy.
• Perform clerical work related to scheduling and documenting patient care; maintain clear communication with team.
