Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Patient Care Technician to perform delegated patient care alongside nurses and healthcare professionals. You will provide direct, hands-on care, support patient recovery, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting.

Minimum pay starts at $18.50 per hour, with night shift opportunities available. Training for BLS is provided by Franciscan as needed.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license through Indiana or prior PCT experience in an acute care setting or a nursing student who has completed the first semester of clinicals or the Franciscan PCT Training Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Franciscan provides BLS training and recertification as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, hands-on patient care as delegated by nursing staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• You must either have an active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license through the State of Indiana OR prior Patient Care Technician experience in an acute care health care organization OR are a nursing student that has completed your 1st semester of clinicals OR have completed the Franciscan PCT Training Program
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
  • Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed
