Job summary

Franciscan Health Lafayette East Campus is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide direct, hands-on patient care and support recovery. You will work alongside nurses in a team-focused environment and gain exposure to diverse patient populations.

Preferred candidates are nursing students who have completed at least one semester of clinicals, hold a CNA certification, and have prior PCT experience in acute care. Franciscan will provide BLS training as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum start pay posted is $18.02 per hour.
• Nursing student after completing 1st semester of clinicals required.
• CNA certification required.
• Prior patient care technician experience in acute care required.
• Franciscan PCT in-training program completion required; BLS training provided as needed.

As a Patient Care Technician at Franciscan Health, you’ll perform delegated patient care activities. You are the caregivers who spend most of the time with our patients.
