Job summary

Franciscan Health Crown Point is seeking a Patient Care Technician on the Resource Team. You will provide direct, hands-on patient care across multiple departments, supporting nurses and other clinicians to comfort and care for patients.

This part-time daytime role offers a collaborative environment, exposure to varied clinical settings, and a starting wage of $18.02 per hour for 24 hours per week. You will build trust with patients, help with daily activities, and learn from skilled

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a Patient Care Technician or CNA.
• Must have active CNA license in Indiana OR prior PCT experience in an acute care health care organization OR nursing student who has completed first semester of clinicals OR completed the Franciscan PCT Training Program.
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) Certification.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience working as a Patient Care Technician or CNA

• You must either have an active Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) license through the State of Indiana OR prior Patient Care Technician experience in an acute care health care organization OR are a nursing student that has completed your 1st semester of clinicals OR have completed the Franciscan PCT Training Program

• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association (Franciscan will provide BLS training and recertification as needed)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED
