Job summary

Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, VA is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the third (night) shift. This unlicensed role supports licensed nurses, assists with admissions and discharges, and ensures patient safety through observation and reporting of changes in condition.

Requirements include a HS diploma and certification (CNA/NCMA/NCPCT or equivalent). Full-time position with competitive pay and shift differentials may apply.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required and one of the listed CNA/NCMA/NCPCT certifications.
• Currently enrolled in a clinical program (RN/LPN/RT/PT) or recently employed as a PCT/Nursing Assistant within 3 years.
• Ability to observe patients and report changes to the supervising nurse.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and mental states and report changes.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.93 - $27.41 hourly.
