About the Role

DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician to provide compassionate care in an outpatient dialysis center. This role involves direct patient care for individuals with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Training and Career Growth

We offer paid, extensive training to equip you with the necessary skills. Post-training, you will join a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, dietitians, social workers, and fellow PCTs. DaVita encourages career advancement through our Clinical Ladders program and other training opportunities to become an RN, Facility Administrator, or Regional Operations Director.

Position Details

• No prior dialysis experience required.
• Training may occur at a facility or training clinic other than your assigned home clinic.
• Potential to float across various clinics during and after training.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one patient care during dialysis treatments.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment, including measuring vital stats and machine setup.
• Build long-term relationships with patients and educate them on dialysis-related topics.
• Work under the supervision of a registered nurse within a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation
