Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician delivers exceptional, patient-centered care by performing delegated basic care services and supporting nursing functions. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, you'll assist with a variety of tasks to maintain a safe and organized care environment. Duties include :

• Assisting in the implementation of care plans by providing both direct and indirect patient care.
• Recording and monitoring patient information, including vital signs and basic health metrics.
• Helping patients with mobility and daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Collecting specimens for diagnostic tests and ensuring accurate procedures.
• Supporting patients with daily living tasks such as bathing, grooming, and nutrition.
• Engaging in best practices that enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of employment.
• Preferred : 1+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Preferred : Previous experience as a CNA or PCT.
