Job summary

DaVita in McAllen, TX is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support dialysis patients under RN supervision, delivering direct, compassionate care during treatment.

You'll monitor patients, set up equipment, record vital signs, educate on kidney health, and collaborate with nurses and other care team members. Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.

• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
