Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, comfort around blood and medical equipment, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training is provided; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dialysis care that is safe, hygienic and compassionate.
• Monitor patients before, during and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers and the care team.
