Job summary

Highpoint Health- Sumner, part of Lifepoint Health, is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time night shifts. The role focuses on assisting with daily living activities, direct patient care, and monitoring patient conditions within a 167-bed facility in Middle TN.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, TN CNA license preferred (considered without), BLS within 30 days, and 1 year of CNA/EMT experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• State of TN CNA license preferred, can be considered without high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• 1 year certified nurse tech or EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with performing activities of daily living
• Providing or assisting with direct patient care
• Observing and recording patient behavior and activities
• Reporting changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggesting modifications to treatment plans
• Assisting with POC testing and EKGs as needed
