Responsibilities

The Patient Care Technician participates as a member of the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care. Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician performs delegated patient care and procedures, observes, reports, and records patient conditions and information. The Patient Care Technician assists with specific treatments and/or procedures in the acute care setting.

Requirements

• Active CNA license on file with the state of Maryland
• Healthcare Provider level CPR
• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a CNA or GNA program and/or completion of Fundamentals and an additional clinical course in an accredited nursing program
