Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the Older Adult/Stroke Unit. Under RN direction, you provide direct patient care and support age-specific needs while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Shifts include 6:30 am-3:00 pm, 2:30 pm-11:00 pm, 10:30 pm-7:00 am. Full-time or part-time with every other weekend/holiday. Requires HS diploma or GED and 1 year direct care experience or completion of CENA/PCT/MA/EMT.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their BSN fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, toileting, and feeding.
• Record patient information to meet documentation requirements.
• Collect specimens and manage peripheral IV catheters.
• Care for patients in a Stroke/Older Adult unit with EEG monitoring.
