Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to provide direct patient care under RN supervision. The role supports ADLs, ensures a safe, clean environment, and participates in relationship-based care to promote wellbeing for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, feeding, and mobility, collecting specimens, and documenting patient information. The position requires a HS diploma or GED and relevant direct care experience or completion of

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience (acute or long term) or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection.
• Collect and send specimens including blood and blood cultures and manage peripheral IV catheters.
• Record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements.
• Care for adult medicine patients admitted from Trinity Health and U of M Emergency Departments.
