Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Tech for the 10 East Older Adult/Stroke Unit. Under RN supervision, the PCT supports direct patient care, assists with ADLs, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment.

Shifts available: 6:30 am–3:00 pm, 2:30 pm–11:00 pm, 10:30 pm–7:00 am. Requires a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of direct care experience or related program; nursing students completing BSN fundamentals may qualify. Trinity Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Competenze

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Mansioni

Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
The PCT assists patient in completing ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation using assistive devices and with feeding and menu selection.
A PCT collects and sends specimens including blood and blood cultures and inserts and removes peripheral IV catheters; responsible for recording patient information and data for documentation.
Medical progressive care unit specializing in care of renal, stroke, seizure with continuous EEG monitoring.
This unit currently houses our COVID-19 population.
