Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Short Stay/Observation Unit. This full-time day shift role supports a RN and provides essential patient care, comfort, and safety for a diverse inpatient population.

You will need CPR certification and either a nursing assistant training program completion or at least six months of patient care experience (or a nursing clinical rotation).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program.
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Six months of patient care experience or completion of a nursing clinical rotation.
• Care Companion Course within six months if required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care tasks under the directions of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide for the care, comfort and safety of patients.
• Prioritize tasks and follow established procedures.
