Endeavor Health is hiring a Patient Care Technician for the Short Stay/Observation Unit at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. The role is full time, 36 hours per week with a night shift from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am and rotating holidays/weekends.

The technician will assist with basic patient care under an RN's supervision, perform procedures as directed, and contribute to patient comfort and safety while highlighting strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Six months of patient care experience or completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course, or completion of one nursing clinical rotation
• Complete the Care Companion Course within six months of hire when required by department
• Excellent teamwork, ability to prioritize and follow directions

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse and according to established procedures to provide care, comfort and safety for patients
