Job summary

Trinity Health in Ann Arbor is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to support direct patient care under RN supervision. You will assist with ADLs, provide safe, compassionate care, and help create a clean, therapeutic environment for patients and families.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and either one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT training. Training is provided, and there are multiple shifts available to accommodate personal schedules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of direct care experience or completion of CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
• Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Training is provided to prepare our colleagues for success.
• The PCT assists patients in completing ADLs including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, and ambulation.
• Collects and sends specimens including blood and blood cultures and inserts/removes peripheral IV catheters; records patient information to meet documentation requirements.
• Care for patients with pulmonary, renal, DM, chemical dependency, and multi-system diseases in a progressive care setting.
