Wilmington Surgcare in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Patient Care Tech to assist with routine and professional patient care under supervision. Responsibilities include equipment handling, post-op kit preparation, directing patients and staff, maintaining sterile instruments, and setting up testing as needed.

Qualifications include graduation from a patient care tech program (preferred) with at least six months related experience, current American Heart Association certification, and BLS

Competenze

• Graduate of a Patient care tech program preferred and at least six months prior related experience in assisting with care of patients.
• Current American Heart Assn.
• BLS certificate Required.

Mansioni

• Under supervision, performs routine non-professional and professional care; assists with patient care.
• Unbags and bags equipment and prepares post-op kits.
• Direct doctors and patients to appropriate rooms and maintain cleanliness of front and back waiting areas.
• Keeps instruments and equipment sterilized and maintains adequate supplies.
• Assists with required testing setup and visual fields.
