Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• Cooperative work attitude and effective communication with colleagues, management, patients, visitors and physicians.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the care of assigned patients as directed by nursing staff.
• Demonstrates awareness of patient and family rights as identified by the center.
• Performs duties in accordance with job requirements and protocols for emergencies.
• Participates in staff meetings, in-service programs and educational requirements as appropriate.
• Communicates pertinent information to the assigned nurse in a timely and effective manner.
