Medical City McKinney is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our collaborative nursing team. You will support Registered Nurses with hands-on care, monitor patients, assist with daily activities and ensure a safe, comfortable environment for each patient.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, 1+ years of acute care experience, and Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start. The role is full-time, day shift with rotating weekends, at our McKinney campus.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
• Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keep patient areas clean, safe, organized, and stocked.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team.
