Job summary

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to deliver patient-centered care under RN/LPN supervision. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and maintain a safe, clean environment while communicating effectively with the care team.

The role requires basic patient-care knowledge, strong organization, and teamwork. Experience in acute care is preferred; BCLS within 90 days of hire is required and CNA/CPCT credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in acute care; nursing program enrollment preferred.
• BCLS within 90 days of hire required.
• CNA or CPCT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff in delivering care and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Record patient data including vital signs and intake/output; report to RN/LPN/LVN.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, linens, and mobility aids.
• Support patient positioning, ambulation, and use of mobility devices.
• Collect urine/stool samples and monitor blood glucose as directed.
