Job summary

Medical City Dallas is hiring a Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team on a full-time day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The PCT will assist with daily patient needs, provide non-medicated care, and help maintain a clean, safe environment.

We value empathy, teamwork, and reliability as essential to delivering compassionate care and supporting RNs in care plans and monitoring patient conditions.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• CNA or PCT certification preferred
• 1+ years in a hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers and comfort to support smooth care and recovery
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices
• Keeping patient areas and common spaces clean, organized, and stocked to maintain safety and efficiency
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality
