Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our nursing team on a full-time basis. You will assist RNs with patient needs, monitor basic conditions, and help maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, preparing patients, and providing supportive care while ensuring infection control and efficient daily operations within a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Assist with daily needs including vital signs, mobility and personal care.
• Support RNs in monitoring conditions and care plans.
• Communicate with patients and care team to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort.
• Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
• Keeping patient areas clean, organized, and stocked for safety and efficiency.
• Managing supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicating kindly with patients, families, and the care team.
