Job summary

West Boca Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Tech to support nursing staff in the provision of emergency treatment for patients of all ages. The role is in the evenings and full time, focusing on compassionate patient care and reliable teamwork.

The incumbent will document care in the electronic health record promptly and accurately, while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent is required.
• One year of hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• CNA completed course preferred; Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required; CPI within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing staff and physicians with emergency treatment for patients of all ages.
• Document care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

Education

• Minimum: High School or GED Equivalent

Experience

• One (1) year in hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
• CNA completed course preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration

• American Heart Association BLS,
• CPI required within three (3) months of hire.
