Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center is seeking a Patient Care Tech for full-time night shifts. The role supports patients with daily living activities and basic nursing care, under supervision. It also includes cross-training to a Unit Associate and ensuring a safe, clean unit environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, preferred Florida CNA certification or RN coursework, BLS certification, and CPI within 90 days of hire. EEO statement applies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Preferred: Florida CNA certification or Florida CNA license, or completion of first semester of Registered Nurse program.
• Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association. CPI must be obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer into role date.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to meet physical, emotional and social needs.
• Cross-trained to Unit Associate and act as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCTs.
• Maintain a safe and clean unit environment and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
