Job summary

Ascension is seeking a patient care role in Pensacola, FL within the Observation department. You will provide basic patient care under supervision, assist with daily living activities, and help move and transport patients throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, reporting changes to nursing staff, and maintaining clean rooms and equipment. A High School diploma or equivalent and a current BLS certification are required; prior acute care experience is preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
