Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care per policies and standards.
• Assist with activities of daily living and daily rounds.
• Respond to call lights and family inquiries promptly.
• Collect, document and report patient care data as directed.
• Measure intake/output and daily weights when indicated.
• Obtain patient care equipment as directed and transport patients as needed.
• Possibly perform skills like vital signs, glucose testing, catheter care, EKGs, and more.
• Support education of patients to promote self-care and healthier outcomes.
