Job summary

This part-time role requires a HS diploma and CPR/BLS; travel locally between Independence Health locations may be required. Immediate orientation provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
• Sound judgment, problem solving skills, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to follow directions from other team members; works independently assigned duties.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN direction.
• Respond to call lights and patient/family questions in a timely manner.
• Document and report ongoing patient care data as directed.
• Measure and document intake/output and daily weights when indicated.
• Transport patients as directed and assist with activities of daily living.
• Assist in promoting health, self-care and positive outcomes.
