Job summary

LMH Health in Lawrence, KS seeks a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under RN supervision during 7p–7a shifts. You will assist with admissions, discharges and transfers, respond to patient needs, and support a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• Kansas CNA certification required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant (CMA) program or 1 year of nursing school.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the RN direction.
• Accompany patients to treatments and activities.
• Complete documentation accurately and timely.
• Assist with lifts, transfers, positioning and ambulation.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN.
• Assist with patient meals and bathing as directed.
• Adhere to applicable policies and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain regular attendance as an essential function.
