Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team. This role welcomes CNAs, other nursing assistants, or patient care techs, with 6 weeks of on-the-job training for non-certified candidates. After training, the position is full-time with night shifts and self-scheduling flexibility.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care, support daily living activities, and collaborate with the care team to improve throughput and patient experience.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and time management skills required.
• Team oriented with attention to detail.
• Willingness to train for CNA role if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assists with activities of daily living (bathing, hygiene, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation, positioning).
• Anticipates family needs in a proactive fashion.
• Individualizes and modifies care according to patient needs.
