Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Part-Time Patient Care Tech to support nursing staff. You will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to perform patient care tasks designed to ensure comfort and safety for patients.

The role requires CPR certification and prior nursing assistant training or related patient care experience, with day shifts 7 am–7:30 pm and rotating holidays/weekends, as described in the posting.

Qualifications

Current CPR Certification by the American Heart Association.
Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program or minimum six months of patient care experience or equivalent or completion of one nursing clinical rotation.
Successful completion of the care Companion Course within six months of hire when course is required by the department.
Excellent interpersonal skills including teamwork and ability to prioritize and follow directions.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care tasks under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patient comfort and safety.
Assist with activities of daily living as assigned and provide compassionate support to patients.
Follow established procedures and care plans to support the healthcare team.
