Tufts Medicine is seeking a Patient Care Technician for Med/Surg at Lowell General Hospital in Lowell, MA. The role provides nursing support under the direction of physicians and registered nurses, focusing on basic patient care and ADLs.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and offers competitive pay with benefits. Evening shift is 3pm-11:30pm, with every other weekend and holiday. Opportunities for career growth are highlighted.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• One year of healthcare experience and nursing service experience preferred.
• Certified patient care, clinical associate, CNA or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Under the direction of a nurse, performs ADLs and patient care.
• Prepares patient rooms for admission and maintains a clean environment.
• Prioritizes patient care according to nursing direction and discharge plans.
• Transports patients to procedures and discharges as directed.
• Collects, records and reports patient data accurately in a timely manner.
• Performs duties of a Patient Sitter and maintains observation.
• Greets visitors professionally and directs to appropriate destinations.
