Qualifications

• 1 year of work experience in a .6fte PCT I position or nursing care work experience in a health care facility
• Completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited institution
• Active enrollment in nursing school or healthcare-related field
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant or equivalent training
• BLS certification within 2 weeks of hire and ongoing maintenance

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Direct and lead other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members
• Deliver patient/family centered care addressing physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental needs
• Ensure privacy, safety and professional behavior within MUSC standards
• Participate in professional practice model, governance and ongoing professional development
